Shower Curtain Ring Ornaments

For today's challenge ornaments I started with shower curtain rings that had been upstairs under the sink since we bought them when we first moved in. For the first ornament I started by wrapping the shower curtain ring. I originally wanted to wrap it in green ribbon or yarn but I had neither of those so I used what I did have which was green duct tape that I cut into thin strips. After I wrapped the shower curtain ring in tape, I went back and went around it with red embroidery thread. Then I printed out the word joy on scrapbook paper and cut it out and glued it to the back of the "wreath." Then I took a green and a red button, layered them and attached a white ribbon to hang the ornament from.

For the second ornament, I wrapped the ring with white and silver ribbon that I had left over from the wedding decorations. Then I printed out the word snow with some multi-colored snowflakes on blue scrapbook, cut it out and glued it to the back of the wreath. Then I attached a silver string to hang it from and glued on a couple of beads to add a little sparkle to the wreath.
